You will actively "feel" nature in the surroundings of Castel Aica, where you can choose to visit the mountains, the lakes, the golf courts, the tennis courts ... in a word, anything that might be considered the "heart-throb" of active tourists. Join us in a trip throughout the seasons! In spring you may want to explore the magic of the blooming orchards by bicycle or on foot. In the summer you can pick and choose among climbing, paragliding, windsurfing and sailing in the nearby lake of Caldaro; or you can decide to spend the day sunbathing at the Lake of Monticolo in Appiano and playing bowls with friends. Winter is the ideal time for a day trip to the most renowned ski resorts of South Tyrol. If you don't like crowded places, you might prefer to go skating to Appiano ice rink or sleigh-riding on the nearby mount Mendola. Never a dull moment in Appiano thanks to the numerous feasts organised in the village, in the country or in the woods and thanks to events like the "Feast of cellars" in Cornaiano or the feast of the harvest and of the grape harvest. Cultural events like the South Tyrolean music gala complete the pleasant summer programme.
